Timeline
The company was founded by brothers Mario and Aldo Cavaletto in 1968 in Salassa, in the Canavese region, where it is still based today. Their adventure in hot steel forging began with a friction screw press, an electric upsetter and a lot of goodwill. Moulds and tooling are prepared by Mario himself, while Aldo does the actual moulding. The moulds produced in those years were mainly for automotive parts and the agricultural sector. The goal set by the two brothers right from the beginning was, where possible, to innovate production processes with continuous investments in new technologies. This idea was kept alive by the younger generation.
